Paving & Finish Work

What happens here
The final step in getting a new parking lot is applying the top surface. This involves laying either asphalt or pouring concrete over the prepared and compacted base. For asphalt, specialized paving machines are used, followed by rollers to compact the hot mix. For concrete, a concrete pump or chute delivers the mix, which is then spread, screeded, floated, and finished. Once the surface is cured, line painting for parking spaces, fire lanes, and directional arrows is completed. Finally, any planned landscaping around the edges of the new lot, such as installing new garden beds in place of removed sidewalks, is performed to enhance aesthetics.
Goal: Complete the parking lot surface, line painting, and landscaping
