What happens here

The project begins by explaining the composition of the base for the pavers. The primary foundation layer consists of 3/4 inch limestone, which provides structural support. On top of this, a layer of smaller aggregate, referred to as 'chips', is used as the setting bed for the pavers. The video highlights that these 'chips' are preferred over older 'screenings' due to their superior water flow characteristics, ensuring better drainage beneath the pavers and preventing water accumulation.

Goal: Identify and understand the function of the different base materials for paver installation.
