The Smartest Snow Equipment in Europe Is Finally Coming to America

What happens here

The video introduces the Jetit Mobile Hot Water Pressure Washer (or WeedStriker 130 for weed killing), a brand new product for North America. This portable unit runs off a gasoline or optional Kubota diesel engine, heating water to 284°F at 2900 PSI and 6.6 GPM. The WeedStriker, with its specialized low-pressure, high-flow pump, uses steam to ecologically kill weeds by expanding the cell walls of leaves and absorbing water into the roots. The presenter emphasizes that it leaves the surrounding landscape undisturbed, unlike high-pressure chemical treatments. The system can be easily put into a pickup truck bed or onto a trailer for mobile applications.

utilizing them also on equipment. And now this is brand new to Hilltip? This is actually brand new to North America by Hilltip. We've been selling this for many, many years in Europe. This is the um Jetted Mobile Hot Water Pressure Washer. Uh quite the mouthful. Uh 130-gallon capacity that's expandable up to 500 gallons as four tank sizes. Uh this runs off of a gasoline motor, but we have the optional diesel Kubota unit as well. So, that boiler will heat water up to 284°. Machine runs at 2,900 PSI at 6.6 gallons a minute. Now, this will actually it's on a skid. So, you can actually put it right in the back of the pickup truck and turn your truck into a mobile pressure washer. >> Absolutely. Absolutely. >> throw it on a trailer and you're good to go. >> On a trailer or you can even put it in the back of a Sprinter van and if you choose to. The nice thing about this unit is it is adaptable to much larger tanks. So, for example, if you had a 500-gallon water tank, you simply plumb it into the the pump and you're good to go. Now, what is this one cuz it looks almost identical to that one? >> That's a great question. This is the Weed Striker 130. This is a 130-gallon uh eco weed killing system. So, its purpose is to kill weeds ecologically by using steam versus chemicals. So, zero chemicals. It just fries them basically without without It's not using fire. So, there's no fire hazard to be associated with it. >> That's correct. So, what this does there's a boiler internally that heats that water up to boiling and it with a very low pressure high flow 12-V pump you use steam to kill weeds. And how it works is steam expands the cell wall of a leaf destroying it up top and absorbs the water into the root that kills it over a period of about a week. Well, why won't you just use the high pressure washer and crank that son of a duck all the way up? Well, you still want to have a landscape bed, don't you? So, you're talking about low pressure leaves everything in place. That's going to blow all the rocks out. That's going to blow everything away. So, that's the main difference between these two units.
