What happens here

This project demonstrates how to effectively plant water lilies in a pond using a specialized kit from AquaLand. The process involves unpacking the kit, filling a grow bag with specialized potting media, planting the lily, adding a slow-release fertilizer tab, and carefully placing the planted lily into the pond. Water lilies are highlighted for their ability to clear murky water by absorbing excess nutrients and providing shade, which helps to inhibit algae growth, ultimately leading to a clearer and healthier pond environment.

A great way to clear up a murky pond is with the lilies. They pull nutrients out of the water column and they shade algae growth. But unfortunately, a lot of people just put lilies in in the container they get them from from the store. And those are really only meant to be shipping containers, not grow out containers. Well, Aqualand has a new kit that allows you to do a one and done. They ship you everything you need to properly grow a new lily. The first thing you do is you pull the bag out and you put in their special potting media. It doesn't need rinsing, it doesn't need mixing, it doesn't need anything special. You put it into their filter bag and then you're good to go. The only other thing you need from Aqualand that they supply in the kit is their once-a-year fertilizer tab. This looks like a horse plug. You simply push it into the soil once every single year and it will feed the lily throughout the entire season. But let's just watch this thing in action. The kit is called the water lily transplant kit and it's available online or in store from Aqualand out of St. Charles, Illinois. And it includes everything you need to be able to grow beautiful tropical lilies or local hardy water lilies. And includes everything you need to last the entire season. It's a one and you're done.
