Good morning, one and all. I went to fire up my heater in the garage and I poured the diesel fuel out and it came out in chunks. Froze solid. We're in Minnesota and the temperature is zero, which is what it is. And I think you guys down south are getting more snow than we're getting here. So to escape to World of Concrete was a pure joy and kind of laughable at the same time. I'm walking around in a t-shirt and people are in coats and they're just looking at me like there's something wrong with me. Well, there probably is when you live in this neck of the woods. But that's not why you guys are here. We are going to be checking out some of the coolest new tools that I found. And trust me guys, I found a lot of amazing stuff at this year's World of Concrete. This show did not disappoint. It delivered in spades. So, let's jump into the show and check out some of the cool stuff that we found. >> All right, Dennis, what are we looking at here? We're looking at the one of the lightest wall braces in the world, I would say. >> And is it adjustable? Tell me a little bit about this, will you, Dennis? >> Absolutely. So, here you can see it's a removable locking pin. >> This is the collapsed length of it. This is around uh 4 m. And when I extend it now, it goes all the way up to 23 ft. And as you can hear, it's a built-in stop. So, super safe. And once this bad boy is extended to its maximum length, the fine adjustment can be made by twisting the whole wall brace. So if you come over here, you can see the function of our braces. So it's on a telescopic brace, rough alignment, and in the end you have thread. So when you rotate the brace, it will push or pull the column or structure straight. >> Awesome. >> Yeah. >> Awesome. What is it called though? >> Uh this one, this is Steox bracing. >> Steadox? >> Yeah. >> Is that the website? That's the website. That's the company name. It's a family business all the way from Finland, Europe. >> Finland. Oh, yeah. Okay. Oh, yeah. Don't you know? I'm from Minnesota, so I can understand you. These guys probably can't, though. >> Yeah. [laughter] >> Nice. >> Thanks, Dennis. I do appreciate it. So, website is >> steadox.com. >> steadox.com. All right. Thank you. >> Thank you so much. >> Oh, yeah. That was pretty cool there, don't you know? But this next tool, she's a dandy already there then. So, this next one's perfect for you guys that are, you know, garage mechanics there or you got service fans and you got to haul all your tools out and then you want a place to set them up. I think these guys got your back. But, uh, I think we've talked enough now and we just need to see another set of cool tools. So, let's just get right to it. >> All right, JP, what are we looking at? >> All right, we are looking at the Crescent Sight Runner here. It'll hold 100 lbs per shelf. thumbs together, locks, >> and then it also has a carrying case. They had mentioned that Southwire does their doubles. >> Is this out now, JP? >> Yes, sir. It is out. $300 map pricing on the internet. 5 in casters, two brakes on the bottom. >> What else do we need to know about it, JP? >> Came out last year. Really good for service. HVAC plumbing. Anybody with a service truck needs a cart like this. >> Awesome. >> Fold and go, right? >> Yes, sir. Fold and go. >> Thank you, sir. >> You know, the saying goes, there's always a better way to build a mouse trap. And this next clip is basically that on roids. This guy took the idea of this tool to the next level, then the next level, then the next level. You can obviously see that this guy is used to working with this tool or these kind of tools. and saw all of the holes in the market and a way to make one tool go a lot further. So, let's just check this out. >> It's more than a hammer, Ernie. >> Yes, it is. >> Tell me about it. And you made this, right? >> Yes, I did. But >> your baby, >> what I really thought it was was a hammer, but I found out talking to everybody that it's a multi-tool that actually swings better than any other hammer out there. Earnner brand. Want to bet? But check it. I'll go through a couple features that we have. One of the one main features that everybody likes is the switchable heads, the built-in wrenches, the uh taper taper wrench, >> but I want to see them. Show them the features. >> Here's one. >> So, we know it's a hammer. >> Other feature face puller. >> That's a 3-in 16 dupe. You guys know what that takes out. Another feature is the wrench inside for she bolts, cat heads, so to speak. Okay. Tightening stripping. If you guys know, you know, you know what I'm talking about, right? >> Right. >> Then you have this feature here, which is the saws blade attachment at the bottom. And that's not for everything, but that's when you get in the situation where you have to cut that last little piece that your skill doesn't touch. And if you're lazy like myself, you don't want to run to the truck to go get it. But here it is, right? It attaches like such and then it cuts. [panting] But wait, there's more. At night, it does your dishes and makes the bed for you. >> Oh, yes, it will. And then depending on which style you like to use, you can go with the traditional framing style, head and claw. And then this is the commercial claw. Thinner head, side puller on each side, face puller. >> Let me feel. That is just a nice feeling. >> Full titanium body. >> God, that is a nice feeling hammer. >> And wait, there's more. Ready? For the lazy guy like myself, you're going to want to bend over. [laughter] >> I'm just kidding. >> Earnerbrand.com. If you want one, you know what you're buying. If you don't, stick with the other guys. >> Where where do guys find it at? >> Earnerbrand.com. >> Is this it right here? Earnbrand.com. >> Yes, sir. >> Thank you, sir. >> All right, guys. Next up is Beamsaw Becca and a new tool by Milwaukee. It's about time they finally got to it. But let me just show you what it is. >> All right, guys. They call their beams saw Becca for a reason. What are we looking at? >> Yeah, absolutely. Guys, we got our new M18 Fuel 10 and a quarter circular saw here. It's going to be the most powerful 10 and a quarter circular saw in its class, being able to deliver the most efficient applications in those dense materials. four by material, it'll be able to get one pass with three and 1316 at a 90 and two and three and quarter 3/4 cut depth uh at a 45. Uh speaking of bevels, we actually have bevel detents on this as well at 22 1/2 and 45. It goes all the way up to 57. And um we also have new disruptive technology on this which is going to be our autostop advanced kickback protection technology. So uh being able to shut that saw down and keeps users safe uh when a severe kickback event happens. And we'll go ahead and fire it up. >> Show you how it works. >> Sorry. What is this going over? Um, this will be out summer of 2026. >> And what is the price going to be? >> Fair tool will be around $4.29. Kit will be with our forge 12vo battery rapid charger at around $5.99. Thank you. >> Yeah, no problem. Thank you. Now, this next tool is innovative, but it's also uses proprietary technology that tethers you to that tool. And it just makes it more difficult for guys like us when we're out in the field that, [clears throat] let me put it this way, when you buy a car, the car dealership doesn't make money on selling you the car. Believe it or not, they really don't make a lot of money when they sell the car. The way they make the money is when you maintain the car, when you repair the car. And what DeWalt has done is created that same kind of a business model. You buy the tool, but to use the tool, you have to constantly only use the DeWalt system that comes with it. You can't use universal um a supply. You know what? I'm talking too much. You guys will see what I'm saying inside of this next video. I'm not fa faulting the tool. I'm just faulting all companies that create proprietary technology that doesn't allow guys like you and I easy access to be able to keep working. Right. Let go watch the video. >> Okay. So, we're in the DeWalt booth and this is brand new this year by DeWalt, right? >> Correct. Yeah. >> Okay. So, this is the new nail gun with the proprietary nail system, but you explain it to me, will you please? >> Sure. Yeah. So, DeWalt's launching a cordless duplex fastening system. Uh the system starts with our duplex nailer, our DCN910. This is the industry's lightest battery powered duplex nailer, 8.7 lb spare tool. >> Okay. >> But in addition to that nailer, uh the system really is centered around these fasteners. So we have 8 penny, 16 penny fasteners that have optimal head size for easy removal and that spacing that users are accustomed to with their common bulk duplex nails. Okay. So, the real magic to this system is in the nails is what you're doing. Is that right? >> It's got to be easy to put the nails in. Also easy to remove the nails. By having these large nail heads, we make made that easy. >> Okay. So, it's a proprietary nail system. >> Correct. Yes. >> And I'm going to be 100% straight with you and say I don't know if that's a good thing. >> Sure. Because if you're out in the field and you run out of nails and you're out in the boondocks and you can't run down to the local framing store and get more nails, are you kind of so at that point? >> Uh, at that point, yes, you are. However, be wise to load up on the nails that you know you're going to be running through. >> Will they take universal nails as well? >> Nope. Proprietary fasteners only work with our duplex nail same across the board. So even though you make a better nail, it would be nice if you had a better nail and then was able to use other guys nails as well so that a guy isn't stuck in one into one system. >> That's good feedback. >> That's all I'm saying is when I look at something like that when we're out building in the woods and we got nothing except for one store and we're praying that they got nails in stock. We know they got universal. We're not so sure if they're going to have those. So you got to make sure you got the right right count before you head out. >> That's right. >> Okay. stock up on. >> Now, are these out? >> These are available at today at at the show.4 $4.99 MSRP. Our fasteners come in counts at 2,000. We have that 8 penny and 16 penny size. They're running at $89 for the 8 penny 99. >> How well does it fire? >> Let's check that out. You want to try it out yourself or you want to see me do it? >> I want to see you do it. >> Sure. >> I bring enough tools I don't need to run. Yeah, you can see that it's a pretty light nail gun. How long is that going to last? It's not using a very big battery either. >> That's a great question that I It's tough to give an answer to, right? What What size nails? What type of battery are you using? What type of material you're using? Right. For a typical DeWalt user, they have multiple batteries in their bag. We've found it with our user research, been no issues really having two to three batteries to go throughout the day. And is this out now? >> Available now. Buy it now. >> All right. >> Good stuff. Thanks for stopping by. >> All right. So, maybe I'm just looking too much into that nail system in a negative light. I just coming from the viewpoint that I know when Frankie and I are up north and we're building out in the woods and the closest hardware store is between 17 and 20 miles away and you don't know what they have in stock. You're just praying that they got the right new. Yeah, they got got the right nules. Sure. The right tools for your nail gun. Or could I have said nules for your tail gun? I could have. Anyway, this next one is a ripper. This next clip is absolutely a ripper. And uh I'm just watch this. Yeah, just watch. >> Okay, hold it up right at me and hold it up like I'm going to hit me. Three, two, one. All right, Robert, what are we looking at with this now? >> This is our brand new hammer drill from Makita. It is our most powerful hammer drill we've ever had and also features a new 3-speed transmission. >> All right, let's see it in action. >> All right, here we go. >> Second gear. >> I'll do it in three. So, what makes this different than the other ones you've made, Rob? >> So, not only do we have a lot more power, we're at 1590 in pounds, but now we have a 3-speed transmission. So, you no longer have to choose between low speed, high torque, or high speed and low torque. Now, we have that happy medium. So, you can work all day long, twice as fast, but still have all the torque you need. >> When is it coming out? >> February 1st. So, just a couple of weeks. >> What is it? >> It'll be 5 for 269 bare tool and kitted up with the tables battery as well and a two-piece combo kit. What was that price one more time? >> $269. >> $269. All right. The new 3-speed drill by Makita. >> Thank you, sir. >> Good enough. >> Now, I'm not very familiar with Klein Tools. I'll be straightforward with you. But Frank Klein Tools sent me a bunch of tools. And when they showed up, Frankie was pumped. He's very familiar with Klein Tools. and he starts going off. Oh my god, they got this and they got that and they're really known for this and they're really known for that and Frankie knows a whole lot more about them than I do. But they did send me this and I'm going to show you what they sent me and then in an upcoming giveaway I'm going to be giving it away to one of you guys down the road and that'll be inside of the Dirt Monkey shop in one of our future giveaways. So, I just want to show you what makes these guys unique because there's a lot of people entering this space and they've got it just dialed in a little bit different. So, let's just check this out. >> All right, Anthony, there's a lot of modular toolboxes out there. What makes Klein different than everybody else? >> We'll start right here with the handle. >> The Klein Tools mod box handle telescopes down like many of the other incumbents in the marketplace. However, ours also pulls out very easily by pulling out those two tabs. Now, you can easily remove the handle, which allows you to secure your mod box system in tight spaces such as your pickup truck with a tano cover. Now, you can close that cover while keeping all your boxes in its upright position. >> One of the things that was pointed out to me by Frankie is the drawer system. He likes the drawer system. >> Yeah, very convenient. So you don't have to unstack all of your boxes to access the boxes below like you called out. You can just easily pull out the different drawers. You can also customize the insides with these inserts to your liking based on, you know, whatever you need to put inside the drawers. Klein Tools also just came out with our rolling drawer box, which is really unique to the marketplace as well. So, our 10-in solid rubberized wheels provides a nice little run flat when you're going through different types of terrain, up and down curbs, staircases, you name it. And then, same thing, you got the nice two drawer box on that rolling uh uh box to again allow for easy access to all your different tools and components. >> Okay. Is there anything else that's that makes it stand apart from >> Yeah, I wanted to call out the side rail accessory mounts. So, we have a ton of different accessory options here. We just have the cup holder as well as a little tool uh carrier. You easily just pull the clip up, pulls off, snaps right back on. Very easy. Again, we have a ton of different options to choose from. We have uh the uh side rail accessories on each side of the mod box as well as internally as well. >> But now you utilize for different kinds of contractors as well. >> So, as we're looking at this, >> oh yeah, the little side, >> we have this. >> So, right here is our uh our our spool dispenser. So that's exactly right. You know, if you're an electrician or any other tradesman who needs to constantly pull a lot of wire, now you have it built into your job box. >> Okay. What else are we looking at with these, Anthony? I see you got side rails on the sides. >> Yep. So again, side rails on every single one of our mod box pieces, whether it's a a drawer box with uh that or, you know, some of our boxes that have the lids. Again, you'll find all these side rail accessory mounts in all the boxes. So again, a variety of different options, even down to speakers will connect right onto the side of it very easily. >> Is there anything else or did we cover it all? >> Uh, I think we covered most of it. Uh, these boxes are IP67 rated, so they are waterproof, uh, and, uh, or excuse me, water resistant and dust resistant. Uh, we have nice gaskets inside the boxes, so they'll be nice and sealed. You don't have to worry about uh, you know, water or anything else draining into your boxes as well as dust. >> All right. Thanks, Anthony. Appreciate it. And that's by Klein Tools. >> This is just still on day one. So if you've seen video number one of World of Concrete and then watched all the way through this video, this doesn't even cover everything I just seen on the very first day. Day two is coming up. And I will tell you there are a few things in day two that I have personally never seen before in my life. and I got to not just eyewitness but film for you guys. And that is coming up in a future video. Uh, plus a lot of more cool stuff. But that's going to call it for today's video. Thanks as always for going along for the ride. And if there's anything you've seen that really stuck out to you, I'd love to hear from you guys. What do you like seeing? Do you like, you know, I guess one of the questions is I don't cover like the Milwaukee and DeWalt and Makita and and I didn't even go in the Huscoarna booth and I didn't even stop by Hilty. Um because sometimes I just feel like that's overplayed, you know what I mean? Uh, and I did, you know, what I did find in the Milwaukee Makita and DeWalt boost was interesting, but I don't really focus on that as much because there's it's just so much out there. Uh, but you tell me, would you like to see it? Would you like me to go in and do a deep dive in these booths? Because I absolutely, positively can. Not now because the show's already over, but down the road I could do it. and I've done it in the past. But I just want to focus on the cool new innovative gear and equipment and just kind of stick with that stuff so you guys can see fresh content. But that's it for this one. God bless and go get them. You guys try to stay warm, will you? Uh I don't know [snorts] what the weather's what is the weather like where you're at. I mean I'm in Minnesota and we don't have snow. We just have zero degree high temperatures with this morning I woke up it was 40°ree winds. I walked outside to feed the cat and I almost froze before I could turn around and put my coat on. It's insanely cold. When I landed from World of Concrete couple 4 days ago, the temperature was -45° for real. That was well not for real. That was the feelike temperature with wind chill. But what is it like where you guys are at? Anyway, God bless and go get them you guys. I hope you…
