The Best Splitting Ax VS the Fastest wood Splitter

What happens here

After the splitting challenge, assess the performance of both the manual method and the kinetic log splitter. Observe the quantity of split wood produced by each, the speed at which it was done, and the physical effort expended. The video's conclusion indicates that while the kinetic splitter is very fast, the manual axe can surprisingly keep pace or even surpass it in certain conditions, especially for skilled users. Consider your own needs: for high volume and less physical strain, a kinetic splitter is efficient, but for portability, cost-effectiveness, and a good workout, a high-quality hand axe is excellent. The host notes that in a future video (Part 2), he will disassemble the Power King kinetic log splitter to evaluate its internal components and overall build quality. He also mentions that in Part 3, he will compare it with a Toro log splitter.

Goal: Determine the winning splitting method and consider future evaluations.

Dude, I got to give it to both of you guys. You're Frankie, you're a beast with that axe. And that is the fastest woodsplitter I've ever seen in my life. Yeah, that's insane. Yeah. Frankie, have you ever seen a wood splitter like that one? I seen it the other day when I was looking at it with him. That's That's incredible, isn't it? Frankie, even using a log splitter, I've never split wood that fast. You had me running there a little bit. All right. So, his advantage is he don't have to move, right? Stand up, right? But that's that's standing them up is a lot less movement than ringing it, splitting it, running back and and watching to get you almost got your head cut a couple times, right? I'm like, "Oh, [laughter] you're getting in the way of the beast. Frankie's had a tough day sanding cabinets all day long." And I think this uh I'm all about friendly competition, but I [laughter] don't want to die doing it. Oh, that's a stress relief. You know what they say about wood, right? It always heats you twice. Yeah. Yep. More than one. You can buy a lot of axes for the price of that, though. How much is that thing new? They're like 1,600 bucks. I got it for on sale, so it's about half price when I bought it. Where did you get it from? There's an outlet center in Burnsville right off 13. Okay. Um, so they sell all kinds of stuff, building materials, equipment. Okay. And so I I was just walking through the store and uh found it. I was like, "Dang, that's a nice deal." And I didn't know anything about it except for it was the weirdest looking log splitter I'd ever seen. Yeah. And so I Googled it and started watching some videos on I was like, "That's the one I want. That's the one." So this should be called the best axe versus the best log splitter. Vehicle, do you? All right, guys. In the next video, we're going to pull apart this Power King log splitter. When I mean pull apart, I mean literally we are going to dismantle this thing. All right, let's crack this open and see what makes this thing tick inside of it. Coler motor. It's a good motor. Yeah, colers are good motors. And what goes from being a very impressive log splitter becomes slightly less impressive when I see how this thing actually operates and the components that they use. Now, don't get me wrong, this is still actually a pretty good log splitter. I'm going to give them that. Uh, but it's not what I would consider to be the best of the best. And so on the next video, make sure you tune in if you…
