come on over your heads cut off I'm like oh hey guys this Josh Downey Ridge farmer welcome to the farm vlog today we have got something to talk to you about we add an almost huge huge tragedy here on the farm didn't we somebody made it oopsie it's easy it could happen to anybody it's not a big deal I want to talk about the oopsie Daisy and we're also going to show you a little bit of gear okay I want to talk to you about the gear that I use here on the farm the shirts that make me feel cool it's a hundred degrees outside heat index is 100 it's 94 okay so don't argue with me I'm really really hot but I stay cool in these clothes that I wear and I want to talk to you about what I wear here on the farm to keep myself cool to keep myself comfortable working out on this hot temperature okay and I also want to talk to you about the world's cheapest toughest watch okay I've had this watch I've had it in the ocean last week I use it on the farm every day I'm a nurse I wash my hands I wear it to work this little Casio watch has been a great great great watch and I want to talk to you a little bit about it we'll put some links down there guys if you want something durable this thing is a rock star also let me grab these pants I'll show you I don't know about you but I don't like to go shopping in a store I like to just buy my stuff online and get it let it come in try it out if you don't like it I send it back or if I don't like it to just never use it which kind of sucks so what I'm trying to tell you here is about some pants that I really like these are 511 tactical pants okay and they have a little stretchy in here okay so when you bend over you can have a belt on but you really don't need a belt okay when you bend over they give a little bit and I know what you're thinking the next thing josh is going to show us is velcro for your shoes no not what I'm going to show you so the next pair of pants I want to show you will set these down right here okay the next one is these columbia's was that Colombia these Colombia shorts have been SuperDuper awesome they're made out of this material that's like really ultra lightweight I don't even know how to describe it how to tell you how lightweight it is it's really really lightweight the price point of these things is about 40 bucks for a pair of shorts I really really like them now they don't have the elastic slide but they do have a little give in them and that helps when you're bending over working on implements working in the garden stuff like that these things wick moisture away from your body and I'm really really pleased with them all I'm trying to do is tell you things that I liked it work on the farm these are the Wrangler shirts I get them from tractor supply you can also get these on Amazon they're really really lightweight and like I said it's hot we're in the garage so it's even hotter it's a hundred degree heat index humidity is up and I feel comfortable in these clothes I can sweat in them and they will wick moisture away and dry awesome all right let's talk to you about this watch okay this is a little Casio watch I'll post a link to it it's dirt cheap I've used it it comes off and on easy it's sweaty right now it's still wet I've used it in the ocean I've used it on the farm it's simple it's very easy to adjust I like it it's tough it's tough as nails it's not scratched up like all the other watches I bought some time ex watches and they just fall apart it looks a little small when I first got it I thought you know this watches a little small on my wrist that's okay it's not that small if it's great it works great guys if you're looking for a good cheap watching you don't want to waste time this thing is awesome next thing we want to talk about is our whoopsie-daisy an almost huge tragedy on our farm right over here we have our freezer and our freezer door somehow some way somehow some way might have got left open in the 100 degree heat all of our meats from our pigs from our chickens from our deer meat everything is in here in this freezer and a couple honey supers so if you look right here behind us here is the honey mess and there's basically honey all over everywhere sticky icky sticky honey inside the freezer I had ice bags up here and I had my honey supers and he and I froze them so that I could keep them for when I get ready to harvest the rest of it well the ice bags melted from the top down into the honey and possibly could have ruined the honey so I put a fan on it and I set them right here and then out came the honey it just oozed out all over the floor not cool guys I can't blame mrs. Stoney Ridge because it could have happened to anybody but the lesson to be learned here guys is when you close your freezer door or your refrigerator door don't just put your shut and walk away close it and ensure that it's closed tightly because this right here this could have been a huge huge deal all the hard work that went into raising our chickens and all the hard work that went into processing the pigs and the deer meat and chickens all could have been wasted total bummer but it all worked out everything froze back and tonight we're going to eat some good old chicken right mrs.
