SWIMMING HOLE FARM POND BUILD VENTRAC MINI BULLDOZER! OVERFLOW SEEDING!
What happens here
Utilize a Ventrac tractor equipped with a landscape rake (Terra Rake) to prepare the ground for seeding. The tractor is a 24.8 horsepower articulating model with a Kubota diesel engine. Drive the tractor across the pond banks to smooth out the rough terrain, break up large clumps of dirt, and stir the soil. This process ensures a loose, uncompacted seed bed, which is vital for the grass seed to settle properly and for nutrients (fertilizer and lime) to be absorbed effectively. The landscape rake is designed to be a low-impact machine, minimizing soil compaction while achieving a fine finish. Go over the area multiple times if necessary to achieve the desired soil consistency, similar to a golf course surface.
Goal: Create a smooth, uncompacted, and well-aerated seed bed for optimal grass growth.
