SWIMMING HOLE FARM POND BUILD VENTRAC MINI BULLDOZER! OVERFLOW SEEDING!

What happens here

Unroll the wood fiber erosion control mats over the newly seeded and amended pond banks, particularly on steeper sloped areas. These mats, which are 8 feet wide and 150 feet long, are designed to protect the seed and soil from erosion while allowing the grass to grow through. Use U-shaped pins to secure the mats to the ground. Push the pins into the ground and step on them to ensure they are firmly in place. This prevents the mats from being lifted by wind or washed away by water. It also helps prevent the new grass from pushing the mats up as it grows. Consider also lightly spreading some grass seed on top of the mats to enhance coverage.

Goal: Protect the newly seeded banks from erosion and promote successful germination.
