What happens here

It's important to recognize that the specific color and pattern of the Rescue Flypad are not merely aesthetic; they serve a crucial scientific purpose. Extensive research, involving the scanning of insect retinas by entomologists, was conducted to pinpoint the colors and patterns that flies find most attractive. This visually appealing design acts as a powerful lure, drawing flies towards the pad and significantly enhancing its trapping capability.

Goal: Appreciate the scientific design behind the flypad's attraction mechanism.

Hide

You can place it anywhere under garbage can lids along a window, at a door frame, indoors or outdoors. Can you tell me about the color, like why the specific color of these flypads? We actually scanned the retina of the insect to determine which colors and patterns it finds most attractive. Flies find this color and pattern most attractive. So it actually lures them by sight. Can I come to Spokane and see that actually happen? Can I see you scan a retina?
