STUCK IN THE MUD! Tracks vs tires in the mud hole!
What happens here
Once all track sections are connected and initially tightened, use an air compressor to re-inflate the skid steer tires to their recommended operating pressure. Re-inflation will put significant tension on the tracks. Drive the skid steer a short distance (e.g., across a gravel area) to allow the tracks to settle and evenly distribute tension. Check all bolts and connections again for any loosening after the initial movement. Fine-tune any remaining slack by re-tightening bolts as necessary. The presenter shows driving over the tracks to confirm they are properly seated and tensioned.
Goal: Achieve proper track tension by inflating tires and making final adjustments.
Tools and materials
