Steps Painting Your House. Prime RIGHT, Painting A House

What happens here

Using an extension ladder, the presenter applies the tinted Peel Bond primer to blistered shake siding using a Premier Riverdale paint brush. He emphasizes putting the primer on 'super thick' and caking it on to fill in blisters and dry spots. He also highlights back brushing to push the primer underneath the laps of the shakes, which helps seal areas where water might soak in and cause swelling or peeling. He uses a 3M medium sanding sponge to smooth out any remaining rough spots or lifted paint edges.

Goal: Apply thick primer to problem areas and smooth surfaces.
