Efficient Hay Distribution for Livestock and Pasture Enrichment
At 0:00 in
Spring Farm Cleanup....I should've done job this MONTHS AGO!
What happens here
Begin by preparing the hay for distribution. Using a sharp cutting tool, carefully cut and remove the netting that wraps around the large round hay bale while it is loaded onto the hay unroller. Ensure all netting is removed to prevent ingestion by livestock. Once the netting is off, use the ATV to slowly drive across the designated pasture areas, allowing the hay unroller to evenly spread the hay. This method not only feeds the cattle but also acts as a natural way to distribute grass seeds and biomass, enriching the soil and promoting new pasture growth, particularly in areas like a septic field.
Goal: Feed cattle and improve pasture soil health through controlled hay distribution.
