Spaces work better when they’re designed to be used every day.

What happens here

Construct the decorative front faces for the drawers. The video shows the builder using composite decking boards. These boards are cut into uniform slats, which are then attached to a wider, flat backing piece (also appearing to be composite). The builder uses a drill to pre-drill and screw the slats onto the backing, ensuring even spacing. If using pine, you would follow a similar process, selecting weather-resistant pine boards and possibly sealing them.
