good morning good evening good afternoon you guys just taking you behind the scenes and I'm just gonna hang out down here in the corner and walk you through some of the stuff I see as we see it and hopefully we just having a relaxing enjoyable day today so let's just keep pushing some snow and see where today's adventure leads us [Music] so the this is the Arctic Razorback and one of the interesting things is this company Arctic snow and ice products they actually never started out to become a Manufacturing Company in the first place they are a snow removal company they have 1500 people that they employ in the winter just plowing and removing snow so the owner of Arctic decided to build his own Pusher for his own guys and about 28 years ago he built the very first Arctic Sectional Pusher and it wasn't until this year that you finally see they've modified it and made that design I started 28 years ago ready to fit on the front of a pickup truck so this is a long straight run we had and we seemed I kept seeing all them dot trucks plowing in tandem like in teams and we thought what the heck we'll just give it a try and these aren't big boys pulled it off really fast except for what he didn't get to see there is their speed bumps all throughout some B and Zach were riding in the back of the pickup truck before it and every time we'd hit a speed bump we were getting Jarred almost knocked out of the back of the pickup truck there we go that's freaking cool I've gone quicker because that snow only got anything off side but that would have jerked you all over because you would have slammed those bumps I had to fell out he wanted to see that didn't you John you were waiting for that he wanted to see you roll in the pile Oh yeah yeah you wanted to see me rolling John everybody's got a John in their company hey you know I got a special room in my house named after you by the way oh boy I don't even want to call to God every house has got one every house has got a job every company's got one all right uh well we can do it faster we can uh I Can Fly the Drone okay yep hey inside there's no speed bumps inside that's a tight spot I think we got room all right let's go check it out let's go see if we can do something inside [Music] foreign [Music] a little bit different than most is it's completely surrounded by a building with only one entry point in in and out so to take all of this snow that gets trapped inside of this building is almost impossible without actually loading it up and Hauling it so we push it into main Central piles and then the date the next day after we come in with the loader well we don't Interstate comes in with a loader and loads it up and Hikes it out foreign [Music] so what's kind of unique about these Arctic Razorbacks is they currently will plug and play into a Western Union Mount so if you have a western whiteout currently and you don't want to have a western whiteout you have to change nothing at all you can hook straight up to it you know wiring nothing just hook right up and you can have an Arctic Razorback but these guys maybe I'm not supposed to tell you this have already started working on their own Mount system and are already working on making this adaptable to other mounts besides Western [Applause] [Music] foreign [Music] plow in its widest all the way spread wide out will go 12 foot so we'll take a 12 foot pass and if you look on the back of these trucks you see these big red giant things those are counterweight kits so Blake the engineer for Arctic he has this so he didn't want to overweight the truck one way or another way he wanted it to be completely within Factory spec so he made created a counterweight kit which will bring the truck back to OEM spec with the plow on the front and I have been tested this claim yet he claims that you can now plow in two-wheel drive because the truck's completely balanced and has a lot of down pressure both front and back are you guys telling me if you believe that or not I I wouldn't doubt it I mean I've driven two-wheel drive trucks with enough weight in the back you can drive a two-wheel drive truck anywhere you want sounds like Blake's got that uh the ram Cummins diesel I believe I believe that's what his truck is running so as I sit here you guys we've got snow coming tonight here in Minnesota and then a one day break and snow coming Saturday again another six to seven inches and we're in the middle of March how was your weather been where you guys are some of you guys have heard have been in a snow drought and hopefully that's over for you but what kind of weather where where are you and what kind of weather do you guys have oh he's making room so Lucas can see they beat I like how these Arctic boys do this so they actually communicate I've noticed this a couple times when they're driving in and out of each other they'll do a single Hawk [Music] and I noticed that like when I was going down to Costa Rica a lot and spending time there exploring that country they use the horn to communicate ding ding it wasn't to you know get out of my way it was ding ding here I am watch out just that was like almost like a courtesy Hawk oh curb curbage he smacked that curve good right there that's the beauty part so I've got it's technically mine is the first Arctic released it's still a prototype you don't know about curves you don't worry about curbs in any way shape or form you hit a curb it's not even like it was there it just kind of look out your window and you're like I think something was there those they just hit curbs like you can't even identify them [Music] okay now in a minute Blake is gonna go up to one of these guys he's gonna go up that's so that's that curve and see he's never plowed this so he doesn't know what this is I think he's just gonna Back Drag that off there goes all our landscaping rock that's no big deal that's not the end of the world but it's just kind of neat to watch these blades Contour so that's a sectional Mall board they go up and down individually but that's gonna that's gonna call it for this video you guys the next one is the fun one we actually have a crash an accident it's uh it just it it's just a I mean we we had fun the entire day but the next video is the crash video coming up and then we're gonna wrap this snow apocalypse storm up and see uh where this takes us but that's it for this one God bless go get em you guys
