What happens here

This video is a personal update from Josh, a farmer from Stoney Ridge Farm, who shares his experience of being sick with COVID-19. He discusses how his illness affects his daily farm responsibilities, including feeding animals and various farm chores, and mentions he lacks the energy for larger projects like building raised garden beds. helping me edit videos and get things ready uh so we'll have some regularly scheduled videos there's going to be a little less content over the next couple days uh slash week so it's uh i'm i'm not real real sick but i'm not real real well i slept this this afternoon until about one o'clock i'm in big t the tym t1104 right now and i figure man if i i gotta get out i gotta do something uh at least something every day to to keep my blood flowing to help clear out all the phlegm and stuff like that so i just wanted to give you guys a quick update this is going to be a very short live stream um i am i am sick i do have uh covet i did get the test yesterday and uh it just is what it is man i know exactly where i got it uh picked it up at the gym trying to be healthy so i guess that'll teach me to be healthy i'm all day let's see what happened on tuesday wednesday thursday friday i'm on day four right now fevers aren't bad it's about 100 degree fever but the show must go on man the uh the farming must go on i have to take care of my animals i have to take care of the chores around the farm i've just got to tone it down a little bit so everywhere i go here i'm going to stop right here by the chicken coop where we've got good light but everywhere i go i'm i see things that need to be done and i just can't do them so uh guys please don't email me uh i won't be able to answer any of your emails for the next week or so i don't need home remedies i don't need anything i just you know i'm a nurse of 13 years i just feel like crap so i just wanted to come on and do a little live and uh and tell you guys what's going on and why you haven't seen as much content this week as as you have and probably won't see as much next week i'll probably come on live and give you some updates today which is really something great great family yeah it's uh it's unfortunate and this is just the the world that we live in right now it's hot in here it's unfortunate it's the world we live in right now uh i take good care of myself and i i feel like i'll just pull right on through this it's not as bad as it was the first time last year at this time uh um i had had the same thing and uh i got it in this year so uh i don't know what it is i don't know what it is uh a lot of folks it's not a political thing here this is not politics this is this is real life i actually uh have a cool t-shirt idea last night i came up with a cool t-shirt idea so i'm brainstorming all the time i should be running the sawmill today and building my raised beds for the garden right here but man it just don't have the energy so if you guys aren't on facebook it's all good but if you are on facebook that's where i'm gonna go next we're gonna talk about this over there too i uh typically will do three to five live streams per week over there feeding the cows and i just can't do them on youtube because the camera stabilization isn't there so you're on my iphone right here during live streams and it's just really rough and bumpy and horrible so i can't do it over here just yet i'm working on it to be able to live stream on both platforms so you guys can get that daily dose of the stony ridge farm what's really going on aside from tools and fun stuff it's just the day to day the farm so uh anyway we're we're driving down the driveway right here my voice isn't gonna hold up i probably will only be on here for about five more minutes um so anyway we're driving down the driveway i've got the drag hair on here i figure if i can sit my butt on the couch and push the clicker i can sit my butt in the tractor seat and turn the steering wheel so i'm gonna knock out at least one chore today and i've already spent about an hour feeding the cows so uh yeah good stuff not feeling great not feeling super horrible it's just like a bad cold right now and i'm doing my best to take good care of myself so staying warm sleeping a lot i slept at one o'clock this afternoon which is not me i'm i'm one of those early risers there's 5 am risers but it's just i'm just not there yet guys so that's it that's the update again if you i i may release a video this evening if we can get the editing done in time if not i'll be first thing in the morning i'm a fun loving guy but right now i'm not feeling so fun uh it's just is what it is guys uh please pound that like button uh i know it's it's it just is what it is man uh i feel weak and tired largic he just said that uh up the wise yeah fill up just feel bad um do you take care of those bees or to somebody else i want you to think about this what are you gonna do with honeybees in the wintertime the bees do it uh there's nothing to do with honeybees in the wintertime uh right now so you feed them you start feeding them in the spring but anyway guys just wanted to let you know give you an update i am sick uh and i am positive for the big c and uh it's just it is what it is man it just is what it is i i can't make it go away and i can't do anything other than just fight through it and uh try to take good care of myself cramming in the vitamins drinking lots of fluid and trying to get a little bit of work done like i said it's hard to keep me down uh if i can sit on the couch and push the clicker i ought to be able to sit in the tractor and turn the steering wheel guys thanks a lot for joining me this is just a quick update on how i'm feeling arm's doing great the cows are doing great just phantom everything's good i've got yes i got covered twice i got it last year this time and this year at this time um just is what it is man just is what it is i i don't think that there is an immunity to this a total immunity to it i think it's something that we're going to all be dealing with to the end of time i mean i just honestly think it is so anyway been eating lots of mangoes and fruit and taking the vitamins and being hydrated and a ton of egg drop soup and one time soup chicken broth good stuff and i've got bone broth that i made here on the farm so it's good stuff guys thanks a lot i appreciate you we'll see you next time on the stoney ridge please pound that like button on your way out the door if you're
