so I got Sherry with me from Unida she is the sanding expert so uh Sherry if I'm you know repainting or refinishing and I'm spraying multiple coats do I need to sand them in between coats yes very important the reason we stand between coaches not to level and that's a big misunderstanding people think you know you're removing material but we're not removing material what we're doing is we're putting in a scratch for the next layer to lock into you need that scratch for it to lock into to prevent any type of scratching off of the paint or appealing of the paint so what would be a recommended grit that I would um sand in between coats I usually use a like a 180 or 220 grit sponge real light scratch if I'm using a sander I may go very fine and just a light scratch cool do you say that maybe doing coats
