Unbox the Orbit B-hyve 2-Outlet Bluetooth Hose Faucet Timer. This device requires two AAA batteries for operation, which should preferably be Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries to prevent swelling and bursting that can occur with alkaline batteries in intermittent use devices. Open the water-tight battery compartment, insert the two AAA batteries into the battery pack, and then slide the battery pack back into the timer and secure the cover.
