Rusty Old Hand Made Knife Restoration....WITH CHEAP HARBOR FREIGHT TOOLS!!!
What happens here
Use the Chef's Choice 151 electric knife sharpener to sharpen the knife. This sharpener features three stages: coarse, medium, and fine. Begin by running the knife through the coarse stage, alternating sides evenly, until a new edge is formed. Listen for changes in sound; a smoother sound indicates an even edge. Then, move to the medium stage, followed by the fine stage, continuing to alternate sides evenly. The sharpener rebuilds the edge and polishes it to a razor-sharp finish. The knife starts dull and will progressively get sharper and smoother with each stage.
Goal: Achieve a razor-sharp edge on the knife.
