Rustic Plywood sink with custom bent back splash & countertop pt2of2

What happens here

Apply the freshly mixed epoxy resin to the sink and countertop surface. Use a paintbrush to carefully cover intricate areas, the custom molding, and the sink basin. For the sink basin, use a turkey baster or pipette to meticulously apply resin into every nook, cranny, and layered edge, ensuring full coverage. A plastic spreader can be used for larger, flatter surfaces to distribute the resin evenly. Ensure the faucet hole and drain hole are taped off to prevent resin from clogging them. After application, use a propane torch, gently and quickly passing the flame over the entire surface. This heats the resin, causing trapped air bubbles to rise and pop, resulting in a smooth, glass-like finish. Exercise extreme caution when using the torch, ensuring it's a quick pass and not lingering in one spot to avoid damaging the resin or the wood.

Goal: Achieve a smooth, bubble-free second coat of epoxy resin on the sink and countertop.
