Cutting and Lifting the Sod

What happens here

The specialized sod harvesting machine, identified as a Brouwer 4000-248, begins the process by precisely cutting the living grass and a thin layer of soil beneath it from the field. This is achieved by a horizontal blade or cutting mechanism at the front of the machine, which severs the sod cleanly from the ground. Following the cut, the sod is immediately lifted by an integrated mechanism, initiating its journey through the harvesting process.
