Remote BRINE set up! Ultimate MONEY maker by VSI 4K

What happens here

Begin by understanding the fundamental concept of liquid deicer (brine) as a more efficient alternative to traditional bulk salt for snow removal. Liquid deicer, typically composed of 77% water and 23% salt, can be stored and dispensed more easily, eliminating the need for frequent trips back to a central shop to load granular salt. This method allows for immediate filling at remote sites, ensuring materials are ready before an impending snow event, thereby saving valuable time and labor.

Goal: Grasp the core principles and advantages of using liquid deicer over bulk salt.

Tools and materials

  • Bulk Salt N/A — Traditional de-icing, used for comparison
  • Liquid Brine N/A — De-icing and anti-icing during snow events

instead of going back and forth to the shop you can fill right from there and have all of your material ready before the next snow event occurs but it's 77% water it's 23% salt um so by having a bulk salt pile on site or whether you have a tank that has a mix of water and salt it's really the same thing it's just in a different form that has a cam lock on one end and a valve that connects to your sprayer the other end has a cam lock hooks up to your tank and then it's a huge cost savings to scale that storage in bulk silos in liquid storage tanks instead of having to build salt bins on all those awesome I mean I'm just soaking this stuff [Music] in all right guys we are at vsi right now and we are going to show you how to set up a remote operation so if you don't have a phenomenal indoor shop like uh Jordan has here at vsi you have options you guys are familiar with the old salt bunkers and you put the hoop tarp over it and all of that well when you have liquid brine it's kind of a different setup we're going to show you exactly how these guys do it because they have remote setups at their facility uh because they don't do everything so Jordan is it safe to say that what you have set up outside of your shop would be the same as what you would set up at a remote location so this would be a pretty Advanced or large sight setup cuz there's multiple tanks so this tank farm actually has uh two different elements we have our our 5,000g tanks with bulk brde and then our smaller 3,000g tanks or our additive in this case you wouldn't typically probably set up five tanks on a remote site but we can represent the same idea uh as we can on a remote site typically on a remote site you're going to have one or two tanks maybe maybe one tank with additive one with brine or just a single tank that has mixed brine already in it um but the main point is the beauty of liquids is the scalability so it's super
