What happens here

A brief sequence demonstrates raw logs being processed into usable lumber on a portable sawmill. This step indicates that the wooden components for the mobile coop were custom-milled, suggesting a hands-on, self-sufficient approach to material preparation rather than using pre-fabricated kit components. The output includes planks suitable for framing and cladding.

Goal: Understand the custom material preparation process

Tools and materials

  • Portable Sawmill — Processing raw logs into lumber planks for the coop's construction
  • Raw Logs Various hardwoods/softwoods — To be milled into lumber for the coop

I think the chickens kind of like the cows. The cows are coming over and the chickens are going toward them. I think they're friends now. Uh this is an old hay wagon that I built into a mobile coupe. Uh we're going to check this side, too. See if we have any uh eggs in our roll out nest box. These are hind gear rollout nest boxes.
