They came in and mixed up their mortar. You've got mortar that's going on these stones and you leave a little gap in there. What this does when you smack it up against the wall, that air gap right there suctions it to the corner. And we'll show you Scotty doing that right here. The bigger stones down low. And then as we work our way up, we've got a cap block that's going to go on the very top right here. So, another one. Now, these guys are telling me it's important when you make your mix, I guess. Tell me about that. Making a concrete mix. It's too wet, it what? What is it? >> It'll slide off. If it's too dry, >> it won't stick. >> It'll fall off. So, you've got your grout bag right there. Is that what you call that? >> Grout bag. >> And >> And we try to find them to fit tight because when we grout it in, the the grout will go up on the rock to make it a bigger joint. So, we try to get it really tight cuz with the bag, you can make it as little a joint as you want to or you can make it a bigger joint. >> Gotcha. Gotcha. So, basically, all you do is just try to find the rock that suits the spot that you're sticking it on. >> Yes. >> And if it doesn't, >> you got a hammer, you'll chisel it out a little bit, >> make it fit or get a different one and make it fit and then we can always add to it. Gotcha. Any pro tips for somebody that's trying to do this yourself putting that mortar on there? >> Not really. As far as putting the mortar on there, your mud is going to be your biggest It can be your best friend or your enemy. Get your mud like it uh consistency of where it sticks good. >> Now, when you've got a spot like this, how do you fix that? You see this? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Well, okay. So, when I grout it, >> I just grout it over a little bit. And I'll take my finger, I'll smooth it right here, and it covers the agot and stuff up that's in the rock. >> Okay, cool. Now, when you run your I I'm going to watch you run your grout real quick. We can >> You were telling me you want it about two finger widths. >> Well, about a finger finger wide somewhere around in there. >> Gotcha. >> Yeah. >> So, you take a paint stick. It's got to be straight on the end. >> Yeah. It needs to be squared up. Kind of >> squared up on the end. Okay. kind of square it up. >> Yeah. And you want to just kind of smooth the joint out. >> Yeah. >> And you want to form it to each side of the rock. You got to turn your paint stick a little sideways, you know. >> You want to form it to each side of the rock. You just smooth the mortar out. You want like a smooth looking joint like a a brick joint. And you just brush it and clean it up a little bit and that'll be the end result. Cool.
