Recycled Tire Water Tank Setup #farming #cattlefarming #farmer

What happens here

After the tractor tire has been cut and the float valve system assembled, the final step is to integrate these components. The PVC pipe with the MegaFlow float valve is positioned inside the cut tractor tire, extending upwards from the ground. This pipe is connected to the underground poly water supply line through the valve in the buried valve box. The float valve then automatically fills the tire with water, maintaining a consistent level. The video concludes by showing several cattle, including calves, comfortably drinking from the newly installed, self-filling tire trough, demonstrating its successful implementation.

Goal: Install the float valve and connect it to the water supply line within the tire trough, and observe its use.

Tools and materials

  • Cut Tractor Tire — Serving as the water basin for the trough
  • MegaFlow Float Valve MegaFlow — Automatically controlling the water level in the trough
  • Poly Pipe — The main underground water supply line
  • PVC Pipe — Connecting the float valve to the main water line
  • Water N/A — Filling the livestock trough
