What happens here
The creator shows the components for the self-filling mechanism of the water trough. This includes a pre-assembled unit designed to be buried underground, consisting of an in-ground valve box with a green lid (possibly a Scotts brand sprinkler valve box). Inside this box, a valve will be installed. Attached to this is a section of 1-inch Schedule 40 PVC pipe that will extend upwards. At the top of this PVC pipe is a MegaFlow float valve, which automatically controls the water level in the trough. This entire assembly will connect to the main 1.25-inch poly pipe water line coming from the farm's solar well system.
Goal: Prepare the components for the self-filling water trough mechanism.
