What happens here
With the permeable paver grid securely laid, the next step, prominently shown in the video, is to fill the grid cells with angular gravel. A skid-steer loader equipped with a front-end bucket is used to efficiently transport and spread the gravel. The operator carefully maneuvers the skid-steer, tilting the bucket to allow the gravel to fall and evenly distribute into the hexagonal cells of the grid. It's important to spread the gravel progressively, working across the entire driveway area, ensuring that each cell is adequately filled. The goal is to fill the cells completely and leave a thin layer (approximately 0.5-1 inch) of gravel on top of the grid to allow for natural compaction and a smooth finish.
Goal: Distribute and fill the geocell grid with angular gravel
