Quick fix for no hot water to a faucet #diy #helpingothers #plumbing
What happens here
Prepare for a reverse flush. First, ensure the hot water shut-off valve is off again. Disconnect the hot supply line from the shut-off valve. Now, take the other end of that same supply line (the end you just disconnected from the faucet) and re-attach it to the hot water inlet on the faucet. Use a faucet tool to give it a slight tighten. The end of the hose that was originally on the shut-off valve should now be placed into the bucket.
Goal: Set up the plumbing to force water backwards through the faucet
