Recess the Nail

What happens here

With the nail setter firmly positioned over the nail head, apply steady and firm downward pressure on the tool. As you press, the internal spring mechanism of the tool will compress. Once sufficient pressure is applied, the tool will automatically trigger with an audible click or thud, delivering a precise impact that drives the nail head flush or slightly below the surface of the siding. As shown in the video, you may need to reposition the tool slightly and repeat the press-and-trigger action multiple times for very stubborn nails, or to achieve the exact desired depth for the nail head. After each impact, visually check the nail head to ensure it is recessed enough to prevent snags, create a smooth surface, and allow for easy repainting or patching if needed.
