Position the Spring-Loaded Nail Setter

Once a protruding nail is identified, retrieve the spring-loaded nail setter. Ensure you are wearing appropriate work gloves, such as the Firm Grip A1 gloves seen in the video, for hand protection and improved grip. Carefully position the small, pointed tip of the nail setter directly over the head of the nail you intend to recess. It is crucial to hold the tool as perpendicularly as possible to the siding surface. This alignment provides the best leverage for driving the nail and helps prevent the tool from slipping off the nail head, which could potentially damage the siding or cause injury.
