What happens here

With one end of the wooden brace now securely fastened to the concrete, position the opposite end of the brace against the top plate or a stud of the newly framed wall. Angle the brace diagonally to provide maximum stability. Using a drill and appropriate screws or a nail gun and nails, attach the brace securely to the wall frame. Repeat this process with additional braces as needed, typically placing them at both ends of a wall and periodically along longer walls to ensure the wall remains plumb, level, and stable until it can be fully sheathed or supported by other structural elements.

Goal: Temporarily support the framed wall, ensuring it is plumb and stable.
