Install the Deck Plug

What happens here

Once the screw is in place with its head slightly recessed, take a color-matched composite deck plug. These plugs are designed to perfectly fit the pre-drilled and countersunk holes. Insert the plug into the hole, aligning it carefully. Use a hammer to gently tap the plug into the hole until it sits flush with the surface of the deck board. This step effectively conceals the screw head, creating a clean, fastener-free appearance on your deck.
