Drive the Deck Screw

What happens here

After successfully drilling the pilot hole, switch the drill bit to a suitable driver bit that matches your deck screws. Insert a deck screw into the pilot hole and use the cordless drill to drive the screw down until the head is slightly recessed below the surface of the deck board. Be careful not to over-drive the screw, as this can damage the composite material or create an unsightly divot.
