You're probably using the same pair of pliers for everything. Here's why you shouldn't. Let's get after it. Needle nose pliers are great for getting into tight spaces and grabbing small fasteners. They're also great for making tight, precise bends. But what if you need to cut something? Then you need diagonal cutters. Great for cutting brad nails, the tails on your zip ties, and wire. But what if you need to strip this insulation without damaging the copper on the inside? Wire strippers are great for stripping the insulation and not damaging the copper underneath. Once the wire is stripped, sometimes you need to grip them and twist them. A lineman pliers is great for that. But the problem with a lineman pliers the jaw only opens so large. These slip joint pliers have this adjustable jaw, which make them extremely useful when it comes to gripping different size pipes. Well, sometimes these jaws just don't open wide enough. That's when you need tongue and groove pliers and you can adjust how wide they go, which make them really nice for removing large fasteners. These pliers work great for holding things, but as soon as you let go of the handle, they just fall off. That's where these adjustable locking pliers come in, commonly known as vice grips. You squeeze it onto your work piece, adjust your knob, and lock. Now, your pliers won't come off. Use the correct pliers for the correct job and you shouldn't have any problems. Anyways, I got stuff to do. I'll catch you guys later. Peace.
