This project outlines a DIY drainage solution for a flat paver patio and pool deck that lacks traditional surface drains. The method involves using specialized pavers with wider gaps along the perimeter, which are then filled with small stone (instead of sand) to create a permeable border. This design allows water from rain and pool splashes to drain effectively through the stone-filled joints and into the sub-base layer, preventing water accumulation on the surface.
