Paper & Plastic Masking Tips Painting Kitchen Cabinets

What happens here

Prepare a 3M Hand-Masker tool by loading it with 72-inch 3M Masking Film and a roll of FrogTape Orange (Pro Grade). Position the hand-masker tool at the top interior edge of a cabinet opening, ensuring the tape is aligned to adhere directly over the previously applied FrogTape Green. Dispense the combined tape and film across the entire width of the top opening. Firmly press the FrogTape Orange onto the green tape to establish a strong, secure bond, which is ideal for holding the plastic without damaging the cabinet's finish. Once the top edge of the film is securely tacked, carefully unfold the pre-folded plastic sheeting downwards. This action will release the plastic to cover the entire interior of the cabinet opening, creating a protective barrier against paint overspray and dust. The use of production-grade FrogTape Orange is cost-effective here since it's only adhering to the green tape, not directly to the cabinet finish, and will be removed with the plastic after painting.

Goal: Use a hand-masker tool loaded with 72-inch 3M Masking Film and FrogTape Orange to efficiently attach and unfold plastic sheeting, covering the cabinet openings and protecting their interiors.
