Painting Walls LIke a Professional Painter: Start to Finish

What happens here

Once all paint coats and touch-ups are complete and thoroughly dry, carefully remove the masking tape and paper from the baseboards. Make sure to pull the tape while the paint is still slightly pliable to avoid peeling the paint off the wall. Gather and remove the drop cloths, shake them outside, and store them. Reinstall the switch plates and outlet covers. Finally, use a vacuum to clean up any dust or debris on the carpet, then reposition any furniture or artwork as desired.

Goal: Remove all protective coverings and return the room to its original state.
