Paint Application with Paint Sprayer
At 2:55 in
Painting an Exterior SOLO Time Lapse. Airless Spraying a Full Exterior!
What happens here
Similar to primer application, the painter maintains full personal protective equipment (respirator, eye protection, ear protection, and appropriate clothing). The chosen exterior paint is loaded into the sprayer. The painter applies multiple thin, even coats, allowing adequate drying time between coats as per paint manufacturer instructions. Consistent overlap of spray passes and proper gun distance are maintained to prevent streaking and ensure full coverage. Ladders are used with extreme caution, ensuring stable footing and appropriate reach. A second person may assist with moving ladders or monitoring paint supply and site safety.
Goal: Once the primer is dry, the final paint coats are applied using the paint sprayer. This step involves careful and systematic spraying to achieve a durable, attractive, and uniform finish.
