for somebody recently asked when they're painting with white they've had to use four or five coats to cover it is there a difference in white paints what should we be using well I have to say that that's not unusual um I haven't found a white in 22 years that covers in one coat and only a few that cover in two coats so that's um you know pretty typical uh just gotta find a white that covers well the one I'm using here by Montage covers in two coats but it's not unusual that you'd have to do a third coat so you know just keep searching till you find one that will cover in two coats but there's not very many out there
