Over 1,100 nails to put in?? Strapshot it is!! ..#deck #deckdesign #build #builder

What happens here

With the joist and metal joist hanger correctly positioned and held in place, take the pneumatic nail gun (a Bostitch Stra-Shot is shown in the video) and ensure it is loaded with the appropriate collated nails. Carefully align the nail gun's tip with the pre-punched holes in the joist hanger. Drive nails through all available holes in the hanger: first into the joist itself (usually with shorter nails), and then into the supporting beam or ledger (often with longer nails). Ensure each nail is fully seated and flush with the hanger's surface for optimal strength. Repeat this process for all joists, working systematically across the deck frame, ensuring each connection is robust and meets structural requirements.

Goal: Fasten joist to frame
