One of my favorite parts of the process of this project

What happens here

The video begins by showing the logistics of concrete delivery to the construction site. Concrete mixer trucks are seen delivering ready-mix concrete to a powerful concrete pump machine. This pump then pushes the concrete through a series of heavy-duty hoses that extend from the road to the in-ground pool excavation area. The pool area itself is already prepared with extensive rebar reinforcement, which forms the skeleton of the pool shell, along with necessary plumbing lines for filtration and circulation, and temporary wooden formwork that defines the pool's shape and features like steps and benches. This meticulous preparation is crucial before any concrete can be applied, ensuring the structural integrity and functionality of the future pool.

Goal: Prepare the pool site for concrete application and set up delivery equipment.

Tools and materials

  • Concrete Hoses — Conveying concrete from the pump to the spray nozzle
  • Concrete Mixer Trucks — Transporting and delivering ready-mix concrete to the job site
  • Concrete Pump Machine — Pumping concrete from the mixer trucks through hoses to the application area
  • Plumbing Lines — Integrating the necessary pipes for water circulation, filtration, and other pool features within the concrete structure
  • Rebar — Providing critical structural reinforcement for the concrete pool shell
  • Skilled Workers N/A — Operating equipment, performing manual labor, and overseeing the construction process
  • Wooden Formwork — Creating temporary forms and boundaries to define the precise shape of the pool, including steps and benches
  • Ready-Mix Concrete — The primary material for forming the structural shell of the pool
