What happens here
Once the first coat of paint has dried, lightly sand the entire painted surface again using the orbital sander with a dust extraction hose. This intermediate sanding step helps to smooth out any imperfections, dust nibs, or uneven areas from the first coat, preparing it for a flawless second coat.
Goal: Smooth the first coat of paint for a better second coat.
