Mower Features and Operation Principle

What happens here

The presenter provides an overview of the Maschio Fiore sickle bar mower, emphasizing its design for cutting grass and small brush. The mower is a 7-foot model, and its unique feature is that both the reciprocating cutter bar and the guards move, allowing for a clean cut similar to scissors. This design minimizes ground disturbance and reduces the power required from the tractor, making it efficient for various tasks including 'green manure' applications (cutting and leaving grass to enrich the soil). The mower also features an offset design, which keeps the tractor wheels from running over the uncut grass.

Goal: Learn about the specific design and benefits of the Maschio Fiore sickle bar mower.
