NOT ANOTHER FARM TRUCK!!! A DEAL I JUST COULDN'T PASS UP...$100 TRUCK'S FUTURE?????

hey folks this josh tony rich farmer welcome to the farm vlog today we got to go up we got to check on the goats and see if we got any new babies today i hope we got new babies we've still got one goat that's promising hopefully she started showing signs of maybe going into labor i don't know i can't really tell but hopefully we'll have one more go today so we're gonna go up we're going to check on the goats and then what we're going to tell you about this truck so we bought another 3/4 ton long bed Dodge Ram Pickup four-wheel drive and I got a crazy good deal on it I'll take you around the truck and we'll show you all about and show you all the stuff that we're gonna do to fix it up we got a few things that we got to do new headlights it's got a busted dashboard some busted plastic pieces and stuff like that and it has no exhaust whatsoever so come on along today we'll have a little bit of fun here on the farm we'll go check on the goats make sure they're doing okay make sure the farm is doing okay and we'll tell you about this old truck right here's the old hundred dollar farm truck this may have some implications on the purpose of the hundred dollar farm truck a lot of you guys have been kind of telling me that's too nice of a truck to make it a farm truck and let it get all beat up and rust it out so I may be taking your advice come on long we'll have some fun today take the dogs up and play with the goats all right [Music] so let's show you this truck guys this is a 1999 Dodge Ram look how nice it is it's that silver it's like a pewter almost silver four wheel drive the four wheel drive works great in it it's got 170,000 miles on it and I paid three grand for it three thousand bucks now this is the good side let's go rear the other side so the other side looks fairly good until you look at the bed and the bed's got a bit of a Dean in it right there it's going to be a farm truck we needed a four-wheel drive farm truck to foot the bill it's got a little bit of rust in it it's not the best truck in the whole wide world but it's a farm truck and we want something that we can beat up and not feel guilty like a lot of you folks are saying the hunter dollar farm truck is almost too nice to make it a farm truck and beat it up stay tuned we got more repairs to do the hundred dollar farm truck but I don't know what do you think should we make it a farm truck or should we make it a restoration project er or what so let's take you around the 99 Dodge Ram here so right here tailgate works pretty good pretty solid let me show you the bed so this side of the bed is the side it has the damage to it and there's just a dip right here okay this looks like you kind of backed into a post or something like that but you know for a farm truck this is kind of where it's at it's got a yeah gooseneck trailer hitch already set up right there let's open up the inside first of all listen to this door man closes nice thanks good any inside here the notorious busted Dodge Ram dashboard right here so when they bought it from the guy we knew it had a busted-up old Dodge Ram dashboard is that a big deal no because there's a dashboard insert that you can buy that overlays this thing cost 140 bucks we're going to buy one we're going to put it on and we'll show you how easy it is also the headlights on these things are notorious for fogging and getting water in them and looking just nasty and dirty look at them so here the old foggy headlights and that one's full of water and there's the other side so you can get aftermarket headlights for like 60 bucks on Amazon I've already ordered the headlights I've already ordered the dash cover and will fix all this stuff up and let you guys check it out this truck for 3 grand is a lot of truck ok that is a lot of truck it's got the 5.9 liter Magnum engine in it if you're not a dodge person that's fine but for 3,000 bucks it's a heck of a truck a heck of a beater something that can pull big trailers and tow around stuff and we don't have to worry about messing up the really nice one that's just like it I've always had an affinity for this body style truck now it doesn't have a muffler are you thinking what I'm thinking you want to hear this thing starts up and runs great let's go over here and you can hear it get ready turn the volume up this is not something that I'm going to keep like this I'm not gonna keep it like this but crank your volume up get ready your wife's gonna come in there what's going on honey that thing it's stupid loud another thing that's going on with this truck is the inside of it stinks so bad I roll the windows down just now and Lexie the puppy just stuck her nose up in the air and like what in the world it stinks so we got the windows down we're gonna leave them down for a few days all right let's go check on the goats it was so big next he's getting so big guys so before we go up you're like oh so fat I'm so fat you're so fat girl good good guys what you might not know is I haven't done a video in a couple days because the the baby goat thing kind of got to me a little bit it it took the wind out of my sails it when you lose an animal like that even though this is a farm and you know it's not really a working farm per se you know like a 2,000 acre farm or ranch out in Wyoming or something like that but it's still a farm here and when you lose an animal like that it it kind of it just took the wind out of my sails guys so I got the wind back I just want to let you know that's kind of why there haven't been very many videos that kind of took the wind out of my sails a little bit so we're gonna go up here check on the goats I just wanted to mention that before we go up and check on them they just took the wind out of my sails hurt my feelings a little bit let's go up and check on the goats we're gonna have a lot of good vlogs going on this weekend this weekend will be the weekend that we kill the pig okay so we're going down to my dad's house we're gonna be killing a pig I'll tell you about that in a minute we're gonna go up and see if we got any baby goats come on girl good girl oh he was a big old fat now what a big fat dog hey goats well folks it looks like it's a no-go on the baby goat once again I swear I don't know how much bigger this gray goat over here can get let me turn the camera around so you can see they go right here and the one that's been pregnant and looking like she's gonna press for like but I don't know if she's ever gonna have her baby let's get some food throw the goats a little bit of feed here [Music] we got no baby goat but we do have is several good logs to come tomorrow will be with my friend Steve who's coming down from Asheville North Carolina to help me volunteer and on Friday and Saturday we're gonna be working with pigs so we're gonna show you the old-fashioned way that my grandfather and my great grandfather and my great-great grandfather used to slaughter pigs and this is the Appalachian Way of slaughtering pigs it's gonna be very interesting something that a lot of you folks if you're foodies you really want to know about how to actually preserve hams make bacon sausage all that stuff you'll learn in the next few videos so stick around on the vlog there's a lot of good stuff to come now I've got to go and look around and find my pocket knife because I lost my pocket knife once again right here somewhere in this field again number three number three of the same knife it's a discontinued knife made by Smith & Wesson that's my
