What happens here
The host presents the Woods EZ-Change Blade System, designed to simplify blade replacement on brush cutters. To change a blade using this system: 1. Access the top of the brush cutter. 2. Remove the access cover. 3. Use a 3/4 inch wrench to loosen the bolt securing the blade. 4. Remove the bolt and its retainer. 5. Slide the mounting plate out of the way. 6. Pull out the old blade. 7. Insert the new blade. 8. Slide the mounting plate back into place. 9. Reinsert the retainer and bolt. 10. Tighten the bolt to the owner's manual specification (e.g., 80 foot-pounds). The system includes a lubrication point to ensure the pin stays well-lubricated for easy operation, unlike traditional systems that require high torque (e.g., 600 foot-pounds) and significant effort.
Goal: Learn to quickly and easily replace blades on a brush cutter using the Woods EZ-Change Blade System.
