NO TILL DRILLING ON THE FARM....What you need to know!

What happens here

To allow the seed drill to engage with the ground for seeding, first raise the machine using the tractor's hydraulic arm. Then, locate and remove the safety block (a small red block held by a pin) that prevents the hydraulic cylinder from fully extending while in transit on the road. This block keeps the disks out of contact with the road. Once the block is removed, the hydraulic cylinder can fully operate, allowing the seed drill's disks to lower into the ground. This also ensures that the seed metering mechanism, which is driven by a ground-contact wheel, only activates when the machine is in position to plant.

Goal: Adjust the seed drill from transport to operational mode for planting.
