Systematic Removal of Subfloor Panels

No sub floors in 60 year old homes
What happens here
After the cuts are made, the worker employs a pry bar (a blue-handled one is visible) to leverage and separate the cut sections of subfloor from the underlying structure. A hammer may be used to drive the pry bar under stubborn sections or to remove nails. The pieces are lifted one by one, creating considerable dust and exposing the original plank subfloor underneath. This repetitive action continues until a significant area of the old subfloor has been removed, revealing areas that may show signs of water damage (visible as darkened wood in the video) or other structural concerns.
Goal: Following the initial cuts, use a pry bar and hammer to systematically lift and remove the sectioned pieces of old subfloor and underlayment. This step reveals the underlying original wooden floorboards, allowing for a preliminary visual inspection.
