What happens here
First, carefully remove the plug from the fill spout opening using snap ring pliers. This reveals a filter inside. Next, take the red fill spout and generously wrap its threaded end with fuel-rated Teflon tape, ensuring to wrap in the direction the threads will turn when tightening (clockwise). Insert the prepared fill spout into the designated opening on the caddy and hand-tighten it securely. Then, take the fuel gauge and repeat the Teflon tape wrapping process on its threads. Insert the fuel gauge into its opening and hand-tighten it. The creator then optionally uses a pipe wrench to further tighten the gauge, noting it's important to prevent leaks.
Goal: Secure the fill spout and fuel gauge to the caddy's top panel.
