Prepare New Hose with Teflon Tape

What happens here

Remove the protective caps from both ends of the new 1-inch Husky fuel hose. Take the fuel-rated Teflon tape (Megatape) and carefully wrap it around the threads of one end of the new hose. Ensure the tape is wrapped in the same direction that you will tighten the fitting into the pump assembly. This prevents the tape from unraveling during installation, ensuring a tight, leak-proof seal.

Goal: Apply fuel-rated Teflon tape to the threaded ends of the new fuel hose for a secure seal.
