No GAS Power Tools for 8 WEEKS! JUST Battery Powered Tools Versus Heavy Brush, Weeds and Swamp

[Music] so do you guys think I can make it through that jungle with just a backpack battery power you guys comment down below we're gonna find out in three two one so the digit caught up to speed this is Eagles commercial line of pop outdoor power equipment now what we've done is taken away all of our gas powered tools our gas powered blowers and trimmers and replaced it with this battery-powered system we have attempted to do this in the past very mixed results we found that the power is good but the runtime has always been lacking and so today we're really gonna tell you guys how this has been going with you nothing but this system for the last eight weeks and we're gonna find out from the guys in the field what they really think of this good bad or in between so let's just keep going you guys see that haze forming that's not gas fumes or exhaust that's pollen and I'm highly allergic to it and in about two hours after I'm done shooting this video my eyes are going to swell shut and I'm gonna pretty much stop breathing so with godlike power but does it have some runtime and how do the guys like compared to gasps okay let's do you take it [Music] okay question for you what's going on no I will stop in there but I just oh you ran out of string yeah you ran out of string at just the right time you got through it all hell this works so good you don't even need string it just goes up to the weeds and intimidates them to death [Music] [Applause] okay Jake so since this year started we kind of did something a little bit crazy and we took away all the gas right yeah have you actually used any gas yet this year just for spring cleanups okay so are you saying that so far this entire year you've never touched a gas trimmer a gas blower nothing how is that working I thought it was gonna be horrible I really did I was like no electric no but the more and more I've used it I liked it more and more every single time I put it on I love I love what you just said you thought it was why was it gonna be horrible cuz every electric thing I've used so far has been nothing but troubles junk yeah junk just kind of like kind of like a wannabe yeah work for 10 minutes and then you got to run back to the truck to grab a new battery or and then once you did that I was string ran out and then you go to go back again cuz your battery ran out again it was non-stop it was more work than and we've tried a ton of battery powered stuff heavily yeah yeah I mean we've given it I'm gonna say we've given it a damn good go I mean if there was a company that was trying to be green you can't blame us for not succeeding how's this ego thing working out really good I mean the only downfall I think on it is wearing a backpack while you're wheat whippin it I mean it's double the amount of time you're wearing a backpack in the middle of 90 degrees and okay other than that there's there's nother thing I would switch on them I mean they're these the weed whips got pretty close to equal the amount of power as gas gas ones okay struggles with nothing the blowers work just fine especially for just grass trimmings yeah and they're gone I've had no problems how is the but those these backpacks when we first got him you and Frankie we did the tests on him against the leave and you were saying that they were comfortable now that you've actually been using them for months day in and day out how comfortable are they they're still comfortable it's just the amount of time you have to wear them compared to gas okay but let's talk about your accounts specifically because you have one account that is 23 Homes 46 acres and that's a ton of stuff to do right I mean that's not a little account and you and Alex handle it by yourself so I would imagine that you'd have to you're gonna be putting a big tax on that unit plus then today you go out and you do individual residential accounts how often are you charging these things once a week once a week charge him once a week okay like how far down on the battery on the bar will it be I think I have about one maybe two bars left okay so it would be for a guy cuz we don't run five days a week Mowen we actually switch over to hardscaping and other stuff so we mow two days out of the week so you're getting two full days of use out of this with no problem no problem okay so you charge them at your own home have you noticed this bike in your electric bill though I don't deal with that the wife does it you get back at it if you think of anything that these guys that may interest these guys just let me know because some of these I mean they're gonna they're gonna spend a lot of money on this system you know and I want to know if it works or not it sure does that's good to know I didn't know what but you really thought of them beginning on it no they just don't have the long term life they get these small tiny individual batteries that and then the power slowly fades down on them as you go and they slowly start getting less and less power when the battery starts going off yeah and you're not noticing that on this have you ever ran it all the way down to nothing yeah and wants to do that it like it does like what what that one thing was doing where you got to pull it out put back in it's just like stops for a second you can keep mine maybe you can keep going for a little bit while it's even when it's fully dead give me a little bit extra I'm just like you're almost done with the job site guys you could probably finish it off even just doing okay pretty nice yeah all right well cool all right thanks Jake yeah so earlier in the video you guys remember hearing Baek say that you could get just a little bit more power when the battery died it would still kind of give them a little bit enough to finish the job in this next clip the battery is dead and you're going to see me just barrel through the weed but listen to how it cuts out that's the indicators that my battery's dead and then it starts up again [Music] all right I gotta ask you a question your honest opinion is that tether annoying that lack cord to the weed whip this one no that is yeah no not really I thought doesn't be a lot more annoying yeah what you can kind of just you can clip it onto one of them eclipse yeah basically just the fault I mean you can't even really tell us they're all the time really you'll get caught on something everyone [Music] but you don't like to switch hands often when your weed whippin never I suppose it's like writing right [Applause] it's so quiet it's almost deceiving the wind blown on my microphone is louder than the blower hey you got that all the way up yep god that's so quiet it's deceiving yeah and that's got enough power to handle your day-to-day jobs everyday all grass and water ain't easy huh yeah it had zero problems handling that didn't it it's our geographic right on the water so here's the blower running [Music] alright here we go holy crap that's louder than the trim the blower holy crap dude is that the way Alex trims like what well I don't know if he's going full-bore though ten feet of string holy bucket no wonder you yeah [Music] things like a the ball more is gonna cover than grass because I'm allergic to it and I go home and I take a shower and then I feel it Hey even after I cut grass and take a shower I still each when I get home you Jake is alert you're allergic to grass and all this crap too right what do you mean floating all those white things that evil dude those things I get if I get one in my eye the eye is done E for the day when we were doing that other video and you were having that allergy attack and I was having that allergy attack I went and I bought one of those air cleaners call it's called enviro clean and I put it in the bedroom and I didn't tell my wife right she woke up the next morning says hey how do you feel how do you feel like you slept she woke up like three hours earlier than normal and she's like well you know that's weird you asked cuz I don't feel like I was in a fight all night long this is what do you mean like you were in a fight all night long she says normally when I wake up I'm stuffy my eyes are runny and I don't feel like I've actually slept I actually feel tired when I wake up yep and we since we put that thing in our bedroom I've had the best sleep that I've had anywhere anytime really yes it's been it's been freaking phenomenal it's called enviro clean and viral clean and I'll see a guy I dealt what the company says hey look if I test this out and it actually helps guys out in the field I want you to give them a 10% discount and they're like well if it works for you and it removes your allergies which they you know they didn't say if they were pretty much yeah it's gonna definitely working um in my mind I'm like yeah yeah yeah I've heard that so many times this is the best thing ever and it turns out like you're like best in the garbage anyway they said actually been the best battery powered system that I've ever owned period hands down it's got the runtime it's got the power it's got the interchangeability between a trimmer a blower and a hedge trimmer which I never use but these guys out in the field are also enjoying it so yeah I just wanted to let you guys know what we were experiencing with it now use your turn guys tell me what you account which is just jumping around like a little bunny at rabbit hopping from one site to the other site so you guys are putting them I think you're putting them to a fairly reasonable test yeah the other batteries that I've used have failed yeah good where they've had no problem I mean they even got rained on we've been using a minute rain really like like a hard rain or a soft break just a soft Ram he's finishing up the account before we headed for the day cuz it's raining but yeah so I mean they get sprinkled on rains on you know and they're doing good okay alright cuz these guys some of these guys are maybe thinking about buying it because maybe they they have noise ordinances or they just go trying to get away from gas and I'm trying to find out from the guys you and Jake the ones that actually use it are they actually good enough that I can go hey guys buy this this ego line is actually a good line for you guys to buy and I want to feel confident doing it and you guys are the ones putting it to the real test no smell now while you're saying that I'm guessing that that no smell just kind of cleaner when we're out in the higher ends properties I'm sure they would appreciate
